Privacy Policy

Bibite LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Ayat mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

Ayat does not require you to create an account. We do not collect your name, email address, or any personal identifiers.

1.2 Automatically Collected Information

  • Screen Time / Family Controls data: The App usesApple’s Screen Time API (Family Controls framework) to shield and unshield apps you select. This data is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted to us.
  • Quran reading progress: Verses read, streaks, and surah completion are stored locally on your device using Apple's frameworks (e.g., UserDefaults / SwiftData). We do not have access to this data.
  • Subscription status: If you subscribe through the App Store, Apple shares an anonymous transaction record with us solely for the purpose of validating your subscription. We do not receive your Apple ID or payment details.

1.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect analytics, crash reports, device identifiers (IDFA/IDFV), location data, contacts, photos, or any other personal information. The App contains no third-party analytics SDKs, advertising frameworks, or tracking pixels.

2. How We Use Information

The limited information described above is used exclusively to:

  • Provide the core App functionality (blocking/unblocking apps, displaying Quran verses, tracking your reading progress).
  • Validate your subscription status via Apple's StoreKit.

3. Data Storage and Security

All user data is stored on-device. We do not operate servers that store personal data. Because no personal data leaves your device, the risk of a data breach affecting your personal information is effectively eliminated.

4. Third-Party Services

  • Apple App Store / StoreKit: Handles in-app subscriptions. Apple's privacy policy applies to data they process.
  • Apple Screen Time / Family Controls: Used to manage app shielding. All processing is on-device per Apple's framework requirements.

We do not share data with any other third parties.

5. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. Because the App collects no personal data from any user, it is compliant with COPPA requirements.

6. Your Rights

Because we do not collect personal data, there is generally no data for us to provide, correct, or delete. If you wish to remove all locally stored data, simply uninstall the App. If you wish to delete the anonymous subscription record Apple shares with us, contact us at support@bibite.app.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted within the App and on our website with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
